I have travelled extensively the last 2-3 years, been to 13 countries and the last year Google has removed my reviews time and time again due to “false marketing”, when in fact I a) both have been to the facility and b) it can easily be traced in Google Maps.
The last review was a veterinarian in Portugal who helped me for hours to arrange for me and my dog to go to Brazil where we are at now.
Probably there is nothing I can do about this, as you are only allowed to file a complaint without uploading proofs.
Anyway, I’m so sick of this now so I’ll just stop writing reviews all togeter
“Welcome to Connect! If this is your first visit, you’ve come to the right place. This post will serve as a guide for everything you need to know about contributing content and engaging with the Local Guides community on Connect”. This is the first of the information that you will find in “Your guide to Connect” , the introductory Guide of the community. In there you will find all the necessary information to know how to better contribute in here.
In fact from the counter, compared with your public profile,I see that you have 9 “private reviews”. A review is made private when the Filter detected (sometimes wrongly) a violation of the policies on your review.
In addition if the review is related to a place in the EU, you are notified about that
As you said, on the notification you also have an indication about what to do next, e.g. remove a media or, like in your case, to appeal.
By pressing the “Appeal” button your review is flagged for a check by an operator, and normally release in just a few days, so feel free to appeal. It takes just a few seconds and if the review is done it will be released quickly
Do you have a doubt about how to do something? The Help desk is here for you, with a long list of post with detailed indications on how to post.
Which kind of contents we share in the community? What are Connect topics? will give you an explanation
