Delete a reiew AND all its photos

I’m not at all sure if I’m posting this in the right place so please forgive me if this is the wrong place.

I’ve just deleted one of my reviews (never had to do this before) and note that the photos in the review are still showing in the Contributions > Photos

Does deleting a review also delete all that review’s photos?

If not then how does one delete all that review’s photos?

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Hi @AdamGT ,

Deleting review won’t delete the photos. You need to search for those photos in Contribution Tab > Photos and delete individually by clicking on the 3 vertical dots> Delete this photo.

Hope that helps.

Hi @AdamGT

Photos and reviews, even if frequently are shown together, are separate contribution, and need to be deleted one by one separately.

To delete your photos, you have to go to “your contribution” under the “photos” tab.

For deleting a photo, you should tap on the three white dots and select “delete” on every photo you want to remove

Oh I see, thank for your reply @MadanKPradhan and @ErmesT so am I right in assuming then when I add a new review for this POI the old (existing) photos will be re-attached correctly to the new review for this POI?

No, @AdamGT

Not necessarily. The photos may be attached, but sometimes they are not, especially if the photos and the review have a different date. Also you don’t need to delete a review, you can make an edit

Sadly I had already deleted the review @ErmesT thinking that this would also delete the review’s photos. After your earlier reply I deleted the photos and I noticed my contribution total points decreasing which of course I was expecting but then strangely, when I returned to the photos tab, I noticed that the photos that I had previously deleted re-appeared so I deleted them again and to my surpirse the points continued to decrease even further. Now I’m not really fussed about the points but thought I’d mention this as there appears to be something weird happening when deleting photos.

Hello @AdamGT ,

Please note that @ErmesT 's reply was accepted as a solution as it gives the complete answer to your question.
