Delayed Delivery of Google Local Guides Reward - Seeking Assistance

Hello fellow Google Local Guides,

I hope this post finds you all well. I am writing today regarding a reward that I earned through the Google Local Guides program. On March 14th, I was notified that I had qualified for a reward, which was described as a pin featuring a little man with a sling camera. The estimated delivery time mentioned was up to 6 weeks from the notification date.

However, I am disappointed to say that it has been more than 12 weeks since the notification, and I have not received the promised reward yet. I have checked my email and spam folders, but I have not received any further updates or tracking information regarding the delivery.

I understand that delays can occur in shipping processes, but the prolonged wait has left me concerned. I am reaching out to this wonderful community in the hopes that someone can provide guidance or direct me to the appropriate channels to resolve this issue.

I kindly request any assistance or advice from fellow Local Guides who may have encountered a similar situation. If anyone has experienced delays in receiving rewards or knows the best way to contact the Google Local Guides support team for assistance, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Congratulations on receiving email on achieving Google Pin. However, it is unfortunate that so far you have not yet received it physically.

Have you redeemed your code? If yes, after redeeming the code you need to wait for couple of weeks to receive it on your given address which you provide while redeeming the code.

Once that step is done you get an email from Deutsche Post Customer Portal (for shipment in India) with the tracking details of your shipment. Post that within 2 to 3 weeks it comes to your doorstep through the local postman.

Having said that there might exist some issues/gaps in the whole process which I have responded earlier here.

You might check that if that helps.

However, I wanted to clarify that after redeeming the code, I have only received an order confirmation email, which arrived one day after the initial reward notification. Unfortunately, since then, I have not received any further emails regarding the shipping details or tracking information. I have thoroughly checked my email and spam folders, but there have been no updates from Deutsche Post Customer Portal or any other shipping-related communication. This prolonged delay and lack of information have left me concerned and prompted me to seek assistance from the community. Since my address for delivery is in Gurgaon (122003), I was expecting to receive the reward within the estimated timeframe mentioned by Google Local Guides. However, it has now been more than 12 weeks since the initial notification, and I am still waiting for the reward to arrive. If you or anyone else has any further suggestions or insights on how to resolve this issue or contact the appropriate channels for support, I would greatly appreciate it.
