[DEEP JAPAN] Children's most vibrant “Tsunami Evacuation Hill” in Sendai Miyagi🤹‍♀️⚠🌊

It is probably the most vibrant emergency shelter in Japan🗾. This vast park is Tsunami Evacuation Hill:running_woman::ocean:.

Due to the tsunami hazard area adjacent to the sea, there are no construction permits for houses and companies. Therefore, it was decided to enhance the activities of local residents. By the way, the designated tsunami hazard area is to the highway which appears in the distance of the photo. The longest, 5 km away from the sea.

In fact, it was built as a hill park just before the 3.11 tsunami occurred, actually protecting people. It is a place with a track record as a shelter. This picture was taken one and a half hours after the arrival of the tsunami. The huge tsunami repeated after this.

Well, here is a magical country familiar to children😆!! Of course it’s free. White hills made of huge durable rubber balloons are quite flexible and resilient🤸‍♀️.

A little high class play equipment is unlimited😚. How happy it is for children to play with their parents.

Volunteer staff will be on hand to help the children’s safety and play👩‍💼. This is a sublimation of adult cooperation that began in the affected areas. The sign says, “We aim for a park to play freely.” For the victims, freedom of life is more important than the justice restrictions of society.

And there is a huge day campsite. Parents cook here and welcome children who have been playing🤗.

Why is the Tsunami Evacuation Hill so vibrant? Because, by continuing the daily life, the victims will gradually melt the ice of the heart, which has been eight years old and it is no longer easy to say the truth.

Your and my country are in contrast. We have no borders but there are many disasters due to the sea. I think your country also has different issues and benefits. I also learn from you!

@YasumiKikuchi very nice post:ok_hand::pray::innocent:

Hello @YasumiKikuchi ,

By the way, I’ve noticed that your post has a Japanese language label. Please note that I’ve removed it as your post is written in English.

To learn more about those labels I recommend you to take a look at the following article How do I find posts in my preferred language?.

Hello @TsekoV
Because Connect does not have a search function for each country, I used Japanese tags for convenience.

Other moderators had some understanding of why. But I understand that in the future such methods will be tightly controlled.
