Many years ago, I met someone at a friend’s wedding who was a “Local Guide”. During that weekend, he reviewed all the businesses to which we were going -he was so dedicated. It took me quiet some times and one day, after having such a great experience at shoe repair store (I find it hard locating a good one), I decided to post my first review!
From now one, I want to be dedicated and write reviews on Google Maps as much as I can, to help users discovering and knowing about all kind of businesses. I think helping people finding the right place they are looking for is important as well as sharing experiences to owners to help them grow, improve their business and services or thank them!
Al Covo in Venice, Italy.
Last year, my boyfriend surprised me and brought me to Venice. He booked a restaurant called “Al Covo”. I reviewed the place and posted photos of the incredible dinner we had. One picture got viewed more than 7K times! I wish my pictures will make people want to go to this restaurant. I am sure they will have an amazing culinary experience as I had!
I recently reviewed “La Buvette”, a local bar in the 11th district of Paris, which serves natural wines and home made terrine,… One picture got viewed almost a 1K time in less than 3 weeks. I hope they will have as much as customers because this place is pretty exceptional!
Contributing, sharing experiences by writing a review is really excited along with posting photos which adds values to words! Also, receiving notifications from Google reminds me these have an impact on people and I am so happy being a part of a digital community and mostly to help others! I love posting and being a Local Guide!
