Made a daytrip from Granville, Normandy, France to GBJ. A ferryboat, 200seats, it takes roughly 1,5 hours to get there. With another 1,5 hours for check-in and customs (same on the route back) it is hardly worth while, except for the tax-free shopping.
Must be a nice Isle, but one needs more days to explore this piece of England. But the full Englisch in the Pub on the corner made this whole trip worst while for me. Really excellent.
