In October 2019, I took a 2 week trip to 5 curated cities in Europe & boy was it the best experience of my life.
My first stop was Amsterdam in Netherlands. I’ve always thought of Amsterdam as the best party destination in the world but I was wrong and how!
Amsterdam is such a sophisticated place, I had no idea. The entire city will grip you so tight, it will ache you to leave.
I was lucky enough to spend 4 (actually a little over 4) leisurely days here, just enjoying the natural beauty of the place. How the city is a perfect blend of modern as well as bring so close to its heritage. What a balance!
I was in a small town called Hoofddorp. I travelled to Amsterdam everyday and back.

It is my most favourite city now. It is full of life, busy streets, nice people, working people & yet doesn’t stop being fun for a moment. Although I must say I thought it was also one of the most safest places across my entire trip. The people are really nice & have a certain class. This being my first time solo travelling, I was extremely anxious but Amsterdam really soothed me through it and reassured me that there is nothing to worry about 
I also have to tell you how different Hoofddarp is from Amsterdam though, it is literally the opposite (Not in terms of the people and the safety, it is exactly the same in those terms) But it is this sweet, calm little place with very less population, much more greenery and has a very ‘chilled Sunday afternoon when you go cycling with your mom, listening to music’ kinda vibe to it.
