Dawn in Dublin City

My morning journey to work takes me through Dublin City centre crossing from North to South over one of the so many mini foot bridges. Here is my morning shot.

One thing I like abou this picture is the sun right on top of the building aligning on the river Liffey.

This is an amazing river. I think its a special place for all the foreigner students in Dublin. When I was living in Ireland I used to pass through it almost everyday to go to work and to the school.

Thanks for sharing @Opabolajo , my wife and I are going to Dublin in July, the city of of my ancestors.

Hi @Aruni

This picture was taken on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. I live in Longford and commute to Dublin City daily. My journey takes me from Dublin Connolly train station to the south side of the city.

Crossing this foot bridge is one of my many daily task. Daily, I look forward to great picture opportunities like this. The alignment of the clouded sun over the building with the sun shining on river Liffey is perfect. It makes my day great.

There are many other foot bridges crossing from the north side to the side and vice versa. Make sure you visit them while in Dublin city.

Hi @Aruni

The best time to visit Dublin is during the summer. Dublin City is a four season weather city. Just like Seattle, one minute it’s raining and then you get the sun later. It could get windy and even sleet in the same day; so it’s not odd to find someone wearing a jumper in summer  Get out early so you can take some nice pictures. In the evening, there are great locations to sit down, relax and go over your day.

Give me a shout if you’re visiting Dublin City sometime.
