[Dawki Bridge]
Bangladesh Local Guides (BDLG) arranged its year-end mega meet-up on the 18th and 19th of December 2020. This meet-up was full of discussion, knowledge sharing, sightseeing, tenting, and eating. One of the venues of this meet-up was Jaflong, Sylhet. From Jaflong, you can see the beautiful Indian resort city Dawki that belongs to the West Jainta Hills District of the Meghalaya state of India. In this post, I will write about and show some photos of Dawki that I saw from Bangladesh part through my camera.

[Bangladeshi tourists watching the Dawki bridge]
I cannot imagine that this steel bridge was built in 1931/32 and this bridge is still fully functional. It is still so beautiful and you can see its beauty even from Bangladesh. In the afternoon it becomes more attractive. As it is far from Bangladesh, so I could not take a nice and clear photo but I can imagine how beautiful it is.

Dawki Town:
From the hilltop of Jaflong, you can see the beauty of Dawki Town. On 19th December I and @GaziSalauddinbd went to a closet pillar of the India-Bangladesh border and saw the nice beauty of the Dawki town. With morning sunlight buildings and other natural beauties of the Dawki town looked very nice and attractive to us. Actually, it is a resort town and everything is really beautiful. This town is covered with various kinds of green trees.

Catholic Church:
When I went to see the beauties of Jaflong on 18th December just after reaching our resort, this Catholic Church attracted me most. But this is situated too far from Bangladesh and there was huge fog on those days, so I could not take any better photos of it even after I tried a lot.

Giant Black Stone:
This Giant stone is clearly visible from many parts of Jaflong. You can see very close at the Songrampunji Black Stone Point, near the Zero Point of Jaflong. To me, it is a huge black skull with eyes, nose, and mouth!!!. You can give another name of it as well.

And a beautiful mysterious house:
I guess it is a resort or a hotel. This is so beautiful that you will not miss looking at twice or more. It is situated over the peak of a hill and has few houses near it that have made it more beautiful. I took several photos of it most of them are really fascinating to me.
[The next meet-up will be there @AbdusSattar ]
I want to dedicate this post to my friends @KalyanPal @PritishB and @BidurC of West Bengal, India who can make a plan to visit Dawki and share nicer photos here with us.
