Darling, I want to go to the village !

On the eve of the long-awaited vacation, hungry for vitamin D3, we scroll through thousands of sites in search of “the same” tour. No one likes to overpay for the rest (it’s just the sea, sun and sand ? ) and everyone wants to get the most pleasure for the minimum investment.
The last time a big promotion among the Russian tourists Vietnam. The center of the beach holiday which is the city of Nha Trang – noisy, lively and “party”. Hotels rubbing sides together, to the beach from the zone of residence of the tourists separates broadband roadway on which day and night go bikes, motorcycles and cars. If this brief description of the popular resort did not make you want to pack a suitcase, then I will offer to move your attention to 250 km South, where the beach stretches a small village called Mui Ne.
M is a fishing village located a few kilometers from the town of Phan Thiet. If you feel positive about the following factors - this is the place for you.

  1. I do not want to overpay for services (accommodation, food, massage, etc.).
  2. I want to live in a hotel with a large area, surrounded by greenery, swimming pool and first line.
  3. I want to try my hand at surfing.
  4. I want fresh seafood for Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  5. I prefer a quiet, non-party holiday.
I welcome all admirers of natural resources and relaxation. And I share with you the secrets – how not to get bored in this dope of peace and pleasure.
Since Mui Ne is a village consisting of one street, you will not find a lot of entertainment and attractions throughout its length. The less easy kompensiruet the tours (which I don’t recommend to buy from a tour operator - because of the cost).
What you should do by choosing Mui Ne for your journey:
  6. Visit Phan Thiet.
You can get to the city in two ways: take a taxi or jump into the local bus. Be prepared for the fact that neither the taxi driver nor the controller in the bus will not be able to help you in the route vector. But the age of technology will always help you out. Open Google maps and become your own guides. If you see hundreds of boats outside the window and the smell of rotten fish fills your nose, you are in a Phan Thiet. Walking through its streets you will feel the true life of the poor Vietnamese people: small shops with fruit or street food, running crowds of the local population, the obtrusive smell of seafood and so on. There is no menu in Russian and do not smile in your face. From small local cafes in your address will constantly hear "Hello!"because for them – you are a wonder of their “other world”. For self-preservation Phan Thiet is better to visit in the daytime

  1. Visit the Central market of Phan Thiet.
In it a separate paragraph. The Central market consists of two large hangars, which you will not be able to bypass in 10-15 minutes. Therefore, I recommend a trip to the Central market to do on any other day, apart from walking. The left hangar of the market – products, right – things. Here you will find everything your heart desires: from cowards to tourist tents and from spices to two-meter tuna. Tourists are not frequent visitors to this market, most prefer to visit the local supermarkets. But what about color? In the market you can safely bargain and bring down the price 2-3 times. Just shake your head and write your price on the calculator. Vietnamese do not argue for a long time. They are unlikely to agree to sell you a tracksuit, which initially offer 600,000 VND – for 50 units. But the lower the price you write, the greater the discount you can expect. For example, with the transfer to our currency, tracksuit can be bought for 400 rubles, and sneakers for 500. But here you will find fruits that are not sold in the tents of the tourist area, spices and seasonings.

  1. Dinner at the side.
Let’s go back to our tourist street. If Mui Ne is referred to the district of Phan Thiet, Boke is the district of Mui Ne. This is the center of the fishing village and a series of cafes with live seafood, which are prepared before your eyes. Shrimp, crabs, crabs, different types of fish – the menu opens directly on your gases. For example, with the transfer to our currency, a kilogram of king prawns the size of a hand – 500 rubles, Dorado – 250 rubles, oysters, grilled – 300 rubles per kg.

  1. Walk to the breakwater.
The smaller the distance from your chosen hotel to Phan Thiet, the closer to you is the object. Where the end of the paved street ne small area, with the descent from which artificial pier cuts the South China sea. It is very quiet, you need to come here to see the waves breaking on the huge boulders. Waves rising above the top of your head. Waves and violence of the elements. You will get an adrenaline rush and aesthetic pleasure.

Hi @IvanRussia ,

Thanks for sharing with us! : ]

Mui Ne is indeed a great destination to understand what bustling markets are!

I just also wanted to let you know that I have removed the Vietnamese language tag since the post would be presented in English (for further remark, do feel free to check the post How do I find posts in my preferred language?)
