Dark Sky before rain

The rainy season starts now in Cambodia. In the afternoon, most of the days paint with this color of the sky. People aware that it is not a good time for traveling across the sea or hiking up the mountain. Many touristic areas are getting quiet. The peak rainy season is in August. Area with forest usually receive more rain than other places. Sometime, it lasts for days non-stop. The rain in Cambodia mostly downpour. While I was in New Zealand for two full years, I have never seen heavy rain at all.

Hello @Sophia_Cambodia ,

Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos with us. I love watching rain, especially when I am at home!

Did you use any filters in order to enhance the colors and the light?

You can always have a look at Please Read: Posting on “Photography” Board article, it might be helpful for your next post.

PS: After the rain, the sun will shine again. :slightly_smiling_face:

  • @BorrisS thank you, that’s great tips. I only used the filter in the photo in the phone itself to make the color stand out. In naked eyes, the sky is so dark and scary but when in the photo, it doesn’t look that scary. Yes, get to see this almost everyday now since rainy seasons starts.*

I am sharing here the view from my office.

  • @Rohan10 right, we are in similar geographical countries so I guess we have seen this often, especially this season… However, sometimes it looks scary! It looks like the sky will fall down. A friend of mine sent this to me from another province!*
