Hey Guy’s,
India, a country, full of diversities. different climates, Culture, Language, Food, architecture. It’s richness makes it a subcontinent. I live in Jaipur India, A dry state, famous for it’s colorful culture, Hospitality, architecture and crafts. But if you go to North (Himalayan states) or Northeast, you will find absolutely different nature.
I was lucky to visit one of destination in which is adjoining with Himalaya and North east (seven sisters states).
Yes it’s Darjeeling -
- famous for world’s one of best quality tea
- holy land for Buddhists
- and land of great Gorkha worriers.
It was 2017, I was lucky to visit there. Here i am sharing few of best pictures, i captured -

Bodh monastery -
when we visited there, it was closed, also rain since last 12 hours. And unfortunately we didn’t had time to stay there, So i couldn’t stopped myself from capturing this photo from outside of a window

Guys it was really awesome experience, visiting Darjeeling. You will feel yourself near to nature, Nice co-operating people and some of nice locations to capture.
In short what to do there -
- Watch beautiful views of hills
- Sunset and sunrise from tiger hill. (we were unfortunate due to rain)
- Visit bodh monastery
- Gorkha war memorial
- Visit tea garden, get some fresh and best quality tea for you.
- Shopping at mall road.
- Rock garden, 7 sisters fall.
- Get close view of gorkha culture. BTW they are shying people, so you can do so, if you have any friend from them. I was there on ‘Bhai tika’ festival, they celebrate on Dushhara.
Nearby places to visit - Darjeeling connects main land india to North sisters states. So Gangtok is also nearby nice place to visit.
Nearby railway station - Siligudi
Nearby Airport - Kolcutta
So guys it’s really a place, you must visit once in life at-least.
