September 27 is World Tourism Day. Cross Route International is the largest biker club in Pakistan. The Cross Route Club has a tradition of taking a big tour on motorbikes every year on September 27, which has been regularly to five different provinces of Pakistan for the last five years.
This year the province of Punjab was chosen and events were held throughout the week from September 20 to September 27. One of these events was in Fort Monroe which is a very important hill station in South Punjab where even in summer the temperature is 10 to 20 degrees. A motorbike rally was organized from Lahore to Fort Monroe about which I have posted 3 posts before.
Fort Monroe has three lakes, the most important of which is Damas Lake . Dames Lake is in the middle of Fort Monroe. Boating can also be done here. The greenery around this lake offers a very attractive view. From where you can get a boat while there are hotels on the other side.
I was not aware the South Punjab region have such beautiful places which you showed by your post so amazingly. Thanks for sharing, so the Damas Lake is also in my wish list whenever I will visit Dera Ghazi to meet my friend @Muhammad_Irfan .
Bhai Irfan please note down Damas Lake also in our visiting plan
