The Local Guides program has had a significant impact on my … places where I will eat or visit
To me, being a Local Guide means looking for local and magical places but most important to look for best Pizza in Town… That’s right i am pizza lover.
Unfortunately, as I read and see that many people met through the portal each other I personally haven’t managed to meet anyone through, but I hope it will change.
But thanks to all the people I didn’t met personally but i know they are out there and they are super active I was able to discover amazing places and eat delicious things. I started my Journey 2 years ago when i went to Naples. As we know it’s city where pizza was birth so ofc i was looking for best Pizza in the town and thanks to local guides i have visited one of the best pizzerias in the world and i became Pizza lover like really love
This trip was beginning of my mission, to look and find best pizza place in every city i visit. So when i got back i look after best pizza in my hometown Warsaw.
At very first beginning i was posting most of the time short comments and pictures. Like " Pizza was super great , affordable and place was cosy" more or less like this.
But the more places i have visited, the more reviews i have did i figured it out that alot of ppl looking for more detailed information. And based on my own example Pictures are the most important. So i started to take more pictures and i started do give more information for the rest of the crew.
I moved from Warsaw to Amsterdam and i created crew with my friends DAM PIZZA TEAM, every 3 weeks we are going to new pizzeria and we rate it.
We created as well list of Pizzerias we have visited so far, so ppl can go in and check how we rated them.
We Enioy it very much and once we will visit all Pizzerias in AMS we will go beyond 
I also love the competition . The monthly email gives exciting information about how many people seen my pictures, and if a place I’ve been with a friend is highlighted is amazing. I Love any kind of stats so i really enjoy it 
And i almost forgot the best part is “Want to go” so for example my plan is to go to Florence later this year and what i am doing, as mention before i look for best restaurants and well i mark them all.
