In May 28, I visited a historic garden, which name is “Daikoyji Suikeien”.
Daikyoji is a temple of the Nichiren sect founded in the Edo period,located in Shibamata area, Katsushika Ward, which is famous for the movie “Tora-san” series. Daikyoji Suikeien is the garden attached to the temple.
The garden was created in 1965 by Rakuzan Nagai, a gardener in Mukojima. Initially, the garden was created in a style to enjoy from the reception hall with sitting, but later a connecting corridor with a roof was maintained, and now we can enjoy strolling around the garden.
I think the scenery of the season of autumn leaves is also very beautiful, but the garden of the season of fresh green was also beautiful. What particularly caught my eye was the red azalea, which was as beautiful as a jewel with red scattered in the green.
