Hello @Jayesh_JD ,
Thank you for sharing this photo with us, the meal looks very delicious!
Daal is lentil, am I right? Did you make this one on your own, or you had it somewhere at a restaurant?
Could you share the recipe with us please? Are there any specific ingredients used for the preparation of the Rajasthani daal? Is it different from the daal dish in the rest of the country?

This daal bati is made by me. At my home , Daal bati is my favourite food because my home town is Also Rajasthan.
Rajasthani daal is not different from other daal . Is normal daal of Chickpeas lentils. And
Bati is made from wheat flour.
Bati is like wheat balls.
Recipe:
- In a large bowl take 2 cup wheat flour, ¼ Tbs, salt ¼ tbs baking powder and ¼ cup ghee (clarified butter)
- mix well making sure the dough is moist. need to hold the shape when pressed with a fist.
- now add water as required and knead the dough.
- knead to the slightly stiff dough as prepared for poori or roti.
- now pinch a small ball sized dough and roll.
- now heat appe pan or cooker on low flame with few drops of ghee.
- place the rolled bati in each mould of Bati cooker.
- cover and cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
- flip over and cook other side and cover it on low flame for 15 minutes.
- Now bati is cooked from all side and also inside.
- dip the bati in ghee for more soft bati from inside. you can alternatively soak for 15 minutes if you are not worried about calories.
- Finally bati is ready @BorrisS
