Photo 1: we stopped at Sveti Filip i Jakov. Do you like the joke?
Ninth day of our tour and today we had to ride a lot. We left Sibenik and just to take another boat ride, we took the ferry to Vodice via the islands of Zlarin and Prvic. From Vodice we retraced the tour of the other day, saving about 20 km. We then took the always busy state road D8, Jadranska magistrala and stopped in Sveti Filip i Jakob after about 40 km for a sandwich and ice cream. Here we encountered umbrellas attached in a street like we found it in Molfetta last year. Nice quiet place to then resume our march after having refreshed ourselves for a while. Here the wind against it began to be felt with all its strength. It was a really challenging 30 km with the headwind continuing to blow stronger and stronger all the way to Zadar. Return to our favorite hotel in Doklì, the Delfin hotel. The sea starts to be a bit more choppy and the wind blows with a pleasant breeze. Tomorrow we will travel by car to Lošinj using many ferries. We will pass through the islands of Rab, Krk and Cres, to get to Lošinj and more precisely to the village of Nerezine. The weather forecasts are not good and if it rains the day after tomorrow, I don’t think we will make the stretch from Nerezine to Lošinj by bicycle, the doctor has not prescribed it! If it rains we could dedicate ourselves to our beloved orchids on the hills of Cres and Lošinj. Bye see you tomorrow.
