Currently working as a Tour Guide

As a twenty-five-year career Air Force Officer, I traveled to over 60 countries and 49 states. My travel experience has allowed me to not only to visit but to personally experience a variety of foreign cultures, spending over a year in France, Germany, Italy, Costa Rica, Panama, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Canada.

In each of my stays I developed strong personal relationships and spent intimate time living and delving into each of the local cultures that I became a part of. With my background of worldwide travel, I have spent over 5 years living and experiencing Europe. My family traveled and lived in Nice, France where I attended a French only speaking school for over two years.

I have just completed a busy season where I was selected to direct and lead tours in all four corners of America. Starting at the Florida Keys, I lead a school group to Key Largo snorkeling a mile offshore, kayaking in John Pennekamp State Park, swimming with dolphin and visiting the Keys Turtle Hospital on Marathon Key.

Leading a tour to North Carolina, we explored the Outer banks visiting Kitty Hawk and the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Cape Hatteras and the Hatteras Lighthouse, ferried to Ocracoke to see wild horses roaming the dunes, and finally ferrying back to the mainland at Morehead City.

Just last month, I lead a tour of Boston, Cape Cod and the Islands which included a tour of downtown Boston, the Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall, Old North Church, the U.S.S. Constitution, Fenway Park and Quincy Hall. We then ferried out to islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, drove to Newport, RI to tour the Breakers Vanderbilt Mansion and see the amazing Mansions on 10 Mile Drive.

The following week, I lead a group to Washington, D.C. to visit the African American, Air and Space, American, Natural History and Spy Museums including the Newseum, along with the Capital, Mt Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery and every outdoor Memorial. Finally, I got to work in my backyard leading a tour of Savannah, Charleston, Beaufort, St Helena and Jekyll Islands.

I also just completed a West Coast tour with an Irish group starting with two days in San Francisco and Sausalito with a winery tour at Sonoma. We then drove to explore Yosemite, followed by the famous 17 mile drive at Pebble Beach and Monterey. From there we headed south and toured Hearst Castle on our way to two days seeing Los Angeles from the J. Paul Getty Museum, Santa Monica, Long Beach, Hollywood Boulevard and Chinese Theater.

Finally, we traveled East to see Calico Mining Town on our way to Las Vegas, arriving the day after the tragic shooting. From there we traveled to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon.

Last year, I guided a foreign group from Scotland and Australia from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Natchez, Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Savannah and ending in Orlando.
