Yesterday Local Guides from Indonesia got a surprise.
Perks from Google Local Guides.
It was quiet a while that we do not receive perks from Google Local Guides, so it is surprising us.
The more surprise is the value of the voucher it is so fantastic !.
It is become most topic around us, Local Guides in Indonesia, during the day.
The problem is because Google Local Guides using currency sign for rupee not Rp. currency sign for Indonesian.
This already confirm by @peter_id who already redeem the perks and he got Rp. 70.000,- (around USD 5) in @Wisnusetiono post.

I received the email perk this morning here in the United States. However when I clicked on the link It said the code expired on May 22nd, 2020

Hope Google Local Guides distribute this peks in clusters, so it need couple days to share the perks to all Local Guides.

Ada 2 kode yang saya cetak tebal, defaultnya kode yang pertama lah yang akan tampil di Udemy, dan itu kode yang salah, kode yang benar adalah kode yang kedua yang saya cetak tebal, tidak sampai disitu saja ternyata setelah di redeem kita hanya mendapatkan 70rb rupiah bro, bukan rupee, salah ketik symbol currency sepertinya googlenya

I think The Google Local Guides send email in clusters, so several hours ago @Nyainurjanah , check her email she do not receive, but recently she confirm that she receive.

Haha, that’s a superb question @BudiFXW
I was thinking about the same but did not comment.
We use a comma to separate number groups in India.
So INR 70,000 is = USD1000 = USD One Thousand, approx.
Many countries use the comma ’ , ’ as decimal separator which means INR 70,000 = INR 70.000 = INR 70 = USD 1 = One US Dollar.
I doubt if one can buy anything useful using USD 1 on Udemy
