INI INDONESIA Community holds a cultural music concert and collaborative discussion entitled Collaboration of Youth of the Nation in Surabaya. Taking place at The Central Mal Gunawangsa Tidar, the concert featured many extraordinary artistic collaborations.
Starting from the reading of national poetry by Ihwal Poetry, performances of contemporary gamelan music and monologue theater from the Nanggala arts community of Trunojoyo Madura University, collaborative discussions with Ali Affandi (Chairman of Kadin Surabaya), Denny Yan Rustanto (Chairman of Hipmi Surabaya), and Arderio Hukom (Chairman of SAPMA East Java Pancasila Youth).
The founders of Ini Indonesia, Dani Ndolops Maulana, Radenmas Hasworo, Fahmi Adimara and Gege Moke were also present. The concert was closed with a spectacular performance from veteran musician IKSAN SKUTER. The number of participants who came and registered reached 535 people
According to Dani Ndolops, Ini Indonesia Founder, the event was held out of concern for the behavior of today’s youth who are increasingly far from positive things.
“There are so many young people nowadays who don’t have good manners towards older people and lack concern for those around them,” he said.
Therefore, continued Dani, the event did not only present cultural arts performances. However, there are also collaborative discussions to regenerate social awareness in contributing to the surroundings for the betterment of the nation.
This was evidenced by all the performers who compactly presented social themes in order to resuscitate the audience. Like the Nanggala monologue theater which alludes to the progress of the times so that it makes the younger generation lose civility in social life.
“It is very important to maintain and cultivate adab towards parents if you want to achieve success in the future,” said Ali Affandi.
Hasworo and Fahmi Adimara unanimously said that Ini Indonesia really wants to accommodate young people so they can get positive input from every activity held.
“In the future, we will continue to be consistent in voicing the importance of contributions to all Indonesian youth so that they are aware and willing to collaborate together to build the nation,” they said.
