Today, I will recount one of my favorite hiking trips for you.
Without proper equipment and the right shoes, and despite challenging conditions, we made it – driven solely by our willingness to explore the great outdoors.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, we were just 200 meters away from our destination. Now, you might think that 200 meters sounds like a breeze, but believe me, it was the most challenging part of the entire journey. The fatigue had already taken its toll on us, and every step felt like an uphill battle. The terrain grew steeper, as if nature itself was testing our determination.
I wonder (because I’ve lived in Indonesia, a tropical country) that it must be really cold to go hiking in such conditions. But I believe that must be one of the most beautiful way to enjoy the life, and I hope someday I can go through a trip by hiking, too.
It is normal to have the “feeling to quit”, but you have won over it and got the precious value on the process and wonderful scenery. Congratulations!
The temperature was about 0°C. In Serbia, temperatures range from -15°C below zero to 3°C during winter, and this varies depending on the region. Most of the road was covered in snow, making it difficult to pass through.
In the summer, temperatures vary between 30°C and 40°C degrees.
I’d say the reward of that amazing view made all of challenges worth it @UrosKosevic . Let me just say I’m very happy that you did it to share with us so we can spare ourselves the freezing climb
