Crispy Cool Contrast

We went out for a walk in the Shriver Aquatic Center park. The fresh snow made for nice contrasts in the trees, especially when processed in Black & White. The walk was extra long because this is the most snow my puppy Koko has ever experienced and every time she squatted to do her business, her derriere went into the snow. This did not feel “right” for Koko and we had to look a long time until we found an adequate place to go !!

Hi @Nick-Hobgood , I guess there isn’t much color anyway at this time of the year. Not long now before Spring. Thanks for sharing.

Hey @Nick-Hobgood ,

Wow this is awesome, thanks for sharing these beautiful photos! It really does look freezing and I can imagine poor Koko’s demise. What kind of pup is Koko?

Hey @Nick-Hobgood ,

I laughed at this story because I know what you mean. Where I live, there is a lot of snow and if nobody cleans it, it is so hard to get from one place to another.

I also have a dog and its kennel is in the yard. At least it knows where to go as it is a well known territory.

Did you take a walk to somewhere specific or it was just a random walk on a snowy day?

Thanks @IshantHP_ig for sharing your snow pictures. Looks cold too !!

@Eire27 Thanks ! @AlexaAC Koko is a rescue pup with lots of black labrador in her mixed heritage. Picture of her with a new friend below. @MoniDi Yeah, we do not have a yard so we do a lot of walks in nearby parks like the park at the Shriver Aquatic center that we visited and where I took the photos above.

Hey @Nick-Hobgood ,

Thank you for the additional photos, I also wanted to see what Koko looks like. Super cute, if I might say!

Your dog loves the snow, do you? Personally, I try to stay in when it is below 0. Even my trips are to hotter countries where I can forget about the cold for a few days.

The only thing I like about winter is that everything looks beautiful covered with snow and there is no visible dirt. Very fairy tale like!

Hi @Nick-Hobgood Koko is Gorgeous and great that she is a rescue dog too  we only get snow every few years so when we do, the whole country gets excited as we could go for many years with no snow, my little dog Obi saw the snow last year and he was tip toeing on it. He normally loves to play fetch so when my son threw a snowball, Obi thought it was an actual ball, he caught it, ran with it inside to his bed and was very confused when it started to melt
