The pandemic, and the changes that many small business are making in my country in a very short time in the direction of the electronic payments is impressive.
The only issue that I have in joining is related to heath reasons, as it will be difficult for me to schedule my life in the next two weeks (12:30 is the time I usually prepare the lunch for my disabled mom). But if I can reschedule my shift, I will be happy to join

every bank has its own credit card application process, I dont think its relevant for local businesses and we won’t discuss personal details of the Meet-Up participants neither!

I will do add my comment here. Not everyone has credit or debit cards, and they will never have them because of either being poor (no bank accounts or eligible for credit cards) or they want to live in a cash-only society (don’t trust the banks or credit cards or don’t want to spend more than they have).
And another issue to ponder, here in the US, over 30 million people have lost their jobs (almost 15% unemployment) in the last two months. Credit is being tightened. People are not able to pay all of their monthly bills, including credit cards, which interest is being added or their credit rating is affecting because they are missing payments. So cash will be king again. You can spend what you have.
