Think about the in. Its no laugh that its self-contained.

Wonderful passive way for construction, sufficient daylight and the thick exterior will keep the indoor air comfortable. But how will it support the interior lighting during the night and privacy/safety is also an issue.

Yes I can see the PV panels at the left side, thanks for the clarification.

Hello @Bakermusas ,

Thanks for sharing this interesting picture with us! Is that a solar panel or a door? It would be a perfect combination of traditions and technology! Can you tell us more about this hut? :slightly_smiling_face:

I also wanted to ask you if you take this photo with a smartphone. In case you haven’t seen it, I suggest this useful article on How to tell a story through your photography.

The House in the picture looks so pretty and kind of unique. @Bakermusas

A blend of traditional housing along with the pinch of technology makes it good for living.

How about the indoors?

Did you built this house for some specific purpose like some holiday/vacation home. :sunglasses:

Its a grass thatched house made with leads. That is for air conditioning and being so cool inside. For the case of lights, it has a solar panel at the left side that generates power for inside use. The door is at the extreme right side.

It is one of tourist homes in Uganda.
