Creating a Win-Win Situation – Here’s What I Love Sharing Most on Google Maps

Life has become fast paced today in the world of technology. Everyone has access to information about anything in moments. This revolutionary paradigm shift in lifestyle has brought an immense positive change in how we operate in daily life. We no more ask people around for information to make an informed decision. We use our smartphones and computers to do that. Now that it is established how we live our lives today, it is crucial that the information accessed by a person on the internet is both accurate and detailed. This is where Google Maps come in handy and play a decisive role in decision-making process. Do you want to grab a quick bite in an unfamiliar neighborhood? Ask Google Maps. You want to shop for a particular product but do not know where the authorized seller is located? Ask Google Maps. You get the idea now!

Keeping the aforementioned perspective in mind I review businesses (retail shops or restaurants) first and then the place where they exist. I review the coffee shop or the bar I am in because people are going to look for a nice place on Google Maps to sit, relax and enjoy their drink. My detailed review is going to bring in more customers, which will not only help that business but will help the whole neighborhood, as it will attract more visitors. Once there are more visitors in this locality, everyone is going to cherish that, be it a coffee shop or retail store, a beauty salon, or a majestic view point. For instance, I was in Phuket, Thailand a few months ago. I reviewed “Bangla Road” which is famous for its nightlife. Then I reviewed “New York Bar” too where I enjoyed 4 nights of my stay. I believe my review of the particular bar will bring people to Bangla Road where there are scores of pubs and bars and they can choose wherever they want to go. They will use local transportation that will help the local community too. And this will help everyone improve and grow. As another instance, I went to Petronas Towers in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, and had dinner in the food court. I not only reviewed the mall but also that restaurant from where I ate. I can go on and on but you get the idea, right?

This is how I try to create a win-win situation for everyone involved. I review a place as a whole and then review a local business especially to ensure they grow. Once they grow, everyone else around them will improve and the overall quality will increase in that area. This eventually will bring more tourists to that spot and everyone will have a good spell. Tourists will have a quality time, the locals will grow, and that is exactly the win-win situation I aim to create wherever I go.

I have been to a few countries and Google Maps has been the best companion app, period! Considering how heavily I rely on it for food, commute and other stuff, I share my experiences so the fellow travelers and the local communities can benefit from them. Using the technology to make this world a better place to live for everyone, there is nothing better than that in my opinion.
