Hi guys. So the husband and I have really taken to checking out all the trendybliytle cocktail spots popping up all over the valley. It’s fun to try all the new foods and see the new drinks they come up with…buy most of all I love helping a new business if they are really good. The bar scene is very competitive in my area, so I like to direct people to the right ones

I love the idea of zeroing in on a specific business type to review. What are your favorite cocktail spots in Phoenix? Have you created any lists to make it easy for people to search and check off where they have been?
We have not put together any lists YET. However I was thinking about it all night at work last night. We could do Phx Top ten for Craft Cocktails. So far my top three are Hater and Hares, Bitter and Twisted cocktail parlor, and Honor Amongst Thieves

I love visiting different cocktail bars too, so we share in interest there. Sometime I even plan my trips around certain bars I really want to try.
When I write my review of a bar I always focus on 3 things - The taste of the cocktail and how well the ingredients go together, the presentation and creativity and finally the overall atmosphere and service from the staff.
Here is a photo from my latest visit at a bar in Budapest.
Besides being a very delicious cocktail, I really liked how the foam from the egg whites and the powdered sugar on the glass looked in contrast to the pink and red colors from the cocktail.
I would also love to see a list of your favorite bars in Phoenix some day. It’s always great to have some good choices nearby if I ever get to visit.
