Do you ask yourself what really changes taste of your life? What trend do you discuss with friends last months or years? For me it is versatility of tastes/minds/potentials/hopes (and hops!) of craft beers and pubs you may share it with friends at.
Since years, it is kind of revolution for community of “new”-searchers, active, young in mind people! Your friend is graphic designer? Most likely you find him/her friday’s night with glass of ChocoClouds stout or RedMachine chili IPA beer at that new stylish bar in downtown. It is not about alcohol. It is about great small surprise you find in taste of drink you think you used to know for 100% for always. This is great motivation for me to look for craft beer pub in every new place i come to. And to share open-minded, always friendly atmosphere you find at for sure.
Well, back in 2012 i was lucky to fly to Poland to watch alive some Euro2012 football matches. One day, 10 am in the morning we felt a need to visit local beer shop. Surprise! Among 20 labels we took, some global brands were at bottom of list in the end. We thought opposite before we bought! Some local, craft beers, i never met again, what a pity - were so unusual and tasty. At that moment i did not recognized i was drinking local craft beer, even my host Andrzej gave a 30-minutes speech on the topic!
Two years later, in Hong Kong, walking around Lai Kwai Fong, we with wife were looking for nice place. In bar, name of i dont remember, there was the only beer with “…india…” in name. Being naive, i decided it is amazing beer was imported from state of Indiana, USA. Only 2 years later right answer it was IPA type beer came to my head!
Once again - craft beer surprises you a lot! Look at the face of that soju-lover.
On top of taste - you crazy of super design of label.
So, my friend, if you are looking and ready to open you dont expect at all - find at Google Maps nearest craft beer bar / pub, and ask for small glass (you dont need to get drunk to feel the atmosphere!) of local craft label, and be ready for surprise.
