Hi everyone, not sure if anyone can help me here. I already reached google maps on Twitter but the help I got did not work.
Here is the situation: The Miami beach convention center used to have a covid 19 drive thru site during 2020. In February 2021, the building reopen and the covid site moved a block away from here. What happens now: people needs testing and will find the information on Google Maps, but once they come in the building and hear this is no longer a testing site, they get frustrated and rude cause walking a block might be their nightmare.
HOW CAN YOU REMOVE THE COVID INFO FROM THE GOOGLE MAPS please? Im attaching an image of the info that needs to be removed

Hi @Goprogirlmiami
I looked at your screenshot and noticed that there is a source mentioned. You proabably need to reach out to the health authorities to get them to update the location.
Google Maps has a program enabling local and regional partners to upload their data directly and automatically. Please learn more here: Google Maps Content Providers
Examples include municipalities and public transport providers.
In my country all the Covid information on Google Maps is updated via such a partnership. The consequence is that Local Guides can not touch/edit this.
In my culture walking a single block would mostly be meet with a smile
Cheers

I saw that but how do I reach them to change this info? I know most people won’t mind walking a block, unfortunately people in Miami are very lazy and will complain about that walk. Thanks for the help I will try to reach them out
Hi, @Goprogirlmiami

Hi @Goprogirlmiami and @iorikun301
Our chat in this thread inspired me to write a new post explaining the different ways we can move a pin.
Please see:

@Goprogirlmiami , My new post will not help in your case since COVID information is considered too sensitive to let Local Guides edit.
Cheers
