COVID19: Crossing the public ferry in Kenya's Coast (Mombasa)

This is the current ferry crossing situation in Mombasa.

This picture was taken by my friend who lives in Mombasa and was crossing the ferry from North Coast to South Coast.

It is saddening to be people resulting to plastic bottles as a means of protecting themselves against the Corona Virus. I wish the government could provide masks to financially unable people. But oh well.

We all know that Coronavirus disease is a contagious acute respiratory infection caused by a new strain of the Coronavirus, which is known as SAR-CoV2(COVID 19)

PRECAUTIONS NEEDED TO BE TAKEN.

.As much as possible, avoid close contact with people that have FEVER, COUGH and BREATHING DIFFICULTIES

. Wash your hands often using soap and water for at least 45 second.

…Practice social distance.

. Stay at home, can reduce the spread of virus.

.Use Hand sanitizer or Alcohol based Hand Rub whenever you cannot wash your hands. Rub for at least 20 seconds

.make use of a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then throw the used tissue in the trash immediately, when you cannot make use of tissues, cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow when coughing.

Applying all these precautions and constantly praying, with God on our side we are protected.

Thanks
