When I was leaving a review on a place today on Google Maps I couldn’t add a video of a place. There was only option for “add a photo”. How it is possible?

I think the gallery via button of “add photo” is already included video together as well.
Alternatively, you can go into your video gallery directly on your photo, and select share option and upload to Google Map.

Adding video feature is only available on mobile phones. Like what #Golden mentioned that there are two options to so. More details can be found here,

@IrynaMaz the easy and simple way is to follow below steps:-
- go to “add photos” when you are actually at the place.
- Select “camera” from the option this will enable your phone camera
- Once you see big camera open, long press the button it starts recording
- Video no longer than 10seconds can be posted

As mentioned by @Praneh_Indore is what everyone does to upload a photo and video.
The situation you are talking about happens when you add a new place because it doesn’t allow to upload a video, just upload photos.
My next question would be have you experienced this while adding a video to a place already on Google map?

was trying to do it through my cell. didn’t work either.
Ah, apparently that is the problem my phone didn’t “see” the video as it was 15 seconds length. Thank you!
Yes, I had this when I was trying to add a video on Google maps place.
@IrynaMaz so videos greater than 9 seconds will not be uploaded…this is what i do when uploading from mobile.
Hope now all seems sorted.
