River Belaya, whose bank I found peace and where great thought filled my mind. I could not remember I come to know this river either I was driven to it’s beach by pure instinct or accompanied friends to the river.
Among the many places I cherished in adopted city , River Belaya stand out. I have come to like parks , gardens, forests and rivers no doubt but I would understand why I have much feelings the river .it’s become habitual for me to take a walk by river side almost daily and I typically sit on the embarkment gazing across and into the forest. Lost in my own thoughts. Occasionally , I got interrupted by horning of the passing ferry , Always carrying elated local tourist having fun as they journeyed down the river.
Never get it wrong , the river is not always a solemn place, the bank of river Belaya is bustling with activities.
I usually forced into conversation with pensioners who have come for haggling and after endlessly tries , need someone to raise their spirit. Likewise, the drunkard who sudden generosity I struggle to understand. While insisting on knowing where I come from , usually offer sausages and vodka and which my polite rejection often fall on dear ears.
My lovely Belaya River is not all drunkard and fishing. Thousand of family and singles throng to the river for walk , picnic and merriment. It is a place of pure happiness.
I have been away from home for sometimes now. Among many reunion I dreamt of , River Belaya remain bright in my mind.

Hello @DanniS thanks for the comment and for liking my post. I live just about a kilometer away from the river. Now I am not in Russia , still at work in South Sudan. I will surely write a lot more about the river and places I visited. Work in NGO put so much restriction on taking pictures and writing about what I see.
Hello @vijayparadkar thanks for liking my post. River Belaya is actually a beautiful river. Even as I am away from home I really miss walking on its bank. Now people will be having barbecue along its beach. If you come to Russia , it will be nice if you can visit the Ural Region to see River Belaya .
Thanks for for reading @AdamGT . It is very popular river in Ufa city. The river actually navigate throughout the city. There a lot activities along its bank . Restaurants, Parks , beaches , resorts, hotels , embarkment etc. So many to do and see if take a walk along the embarkment.
