Tell us, why a “Edit” could not be approve and why does it take that long time to know (… nothing…).
DO NOT MERGE! I ALREADY POSTET SEPERATE AND MERGED. BOTH GOT CLOSED BECAUSE ONE GUY WANTS IT MEREGED AND THE OTHER SEPERATED. I DO NOT SEND IT IN A FOURTH WAY: STOP KIDDING!
That would be because someone might not have approved your edit. There was this KFC outlet which had moved about half a kilometer from the current location and even had a banner mentioning it. I unsuccessfully tried to edit this details probably 4 or 5 times. Each time the edit was not approved. I tried “place has moved to new location” and even “place is closed”. This was many months ago. Today I visited and saw that the old place no longer exists. But, as for me, none of my edits were approved.

Edits of Local Guides are checked & Google need to confirm if your edit is true. Some times it’s approved, sometime pending, and sometimes its never approved. Its totally depends of confirmation of any other local guide and informations which you provided. Just be calm and patient, and if you want to know more about this matter, this post Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”? Will surely helpful for you. And one more thing, you should post this question at How-tos section .

Please have a look at this idea which tackles your exact issue. If you want to feel free to vote for the idea rather than to create a new one for the same purpose. If similar ideas already exist in Idea Exchange we will merge them for organisational purposes and for the votes to count in one place.

I think we should get the respect for our work. This include a communication. If i send a feedback inside gmaps, i have to get an answer. Not 2 year later! No answer is not an option. If we do not get respect, why should we give respect?
If you think i have to be fair, friendly and respectful, google should do.the same.
As i said many times! Google is not our diktator, google is a gift recieper. We do not get gifts, no money. But we respect. If google does not care about us, google will be the looser.

Edits can take some time to be approve or get rejected. It depends on the type of listing, how many edits corrected by other users via check the facts section and approval by Googlers.
Would you mind to share link to that place, where you have applied the edits?
