Could anyone offer a tip on why my simple reviews violate policies.

I wrote a few reviews of the places that I visited in Paris and all of them are labeled as

I have written over 400 reviews and these reviews are the only ones labeled such.

Hello @hz10 ,

Your review texts good in all aspects. Have you attached any photo as well with your review?

At times in case Google does not publish your review photo as public automatically review gets hidden.

This is my specific view on your query.

JAI HO!!!

@Kumaarsantosh Thank you for lending a hand.

Yes, I added photos. It is interesting that the photos were apparently published because they have got quite a few views.

Really puzzling.

Not necessarily @hz10 .

Even some of mine hidden photos have views in thousands.

At times Google behaves funny.

So, if the photos attached to the review are hidden, this could be the reason of your review not getting public.

Having said so some generic guidelines are available in various posts in this community but for specific ones it is hard to find.

Thanks for being there.

Thank you for the information. Let me try to appeal to find out what causes this.

Before trying to appeal, I tried editing the review first. I edited the review by literally making no change at all (i.e, select edit, do nothing, then post it again) and it worked. The review was posted successfully.

Strange indeed @hz10 .
