Corporate Take-Down

I’ve recently made a post called “Help for the Disabled” in which I wanted anyone whose had a negative experience with this company located in Norcross, GA to contact me. You see this company, which has locations all across the USA and more is making billions of dollars by ripping off the disabled, like myself. I don’t know about you but I find this horrifying and not just because I’m disabled. Anyone, any business or any company that lies to the public about how great they are doing in making a difference in the lives of those who need it the most but then behind the scenes they’re actually making those peoples lives a ton harder and don’t care and get away with it, mainly because it’s really hard to fight a multi-billion dollar company, I think people need to stand up to and make them stop. Well, that’s the idea behind my idea. I’m not talking about getting getting bad service at a restaurant either. I’m talking about, well let’s take my story with NuMotion for an example. In January 2018, I received a brand new wheelchair from this company, within 2 months the thing began falling apart. In July 2018, a technician came to my home and wrote up a work order to replace 2 main components, 1 of which made the wheelchair a safety hazard. Normal policy, esp. with medical equipment that is medically needed, would be to fix it on the spot or within a day or 2. It took them 7 months and the repair job they did is worse than the condition in which I received the chair and before they got around to fixing it, it caused both myself and someone helping me to get injured. My injury was pretty significant. Then, in August 2018, 2 main bolts the secure the whole left side of my wheelchair snapped in half plummeting me out of my wheelchair almost dislocating my left should but simultaneously tore both rotator cuffs in each shoulder, 1 of which tore completely around. Now, for someone whose paralyzed waist down, your shoulders and arms are all you have and without your shoulders you can’t use your arms. Later I found out that the bolts weren’t heat treat and hardened like by law they’re supposed to be and if that wasn’t bad enough they didn’t even do the repairs under warranty, they billed my insurance for the work. There is a lot more I could say but all you have to do is google reviews for this company and they’re are literally dozens upon dozens and almost identical situations like mine; even some ex-employees wrote reviews on how the company is ran and they’re testimony backs up all the negative reviews on this company. This is the first company I’m trying this tactic with but I know there are more companies like this. This may be the only way people like me and others are able to get the help they so desperately need. So, esp. with this company, please email me of places you think it’s worth teaming up on or if you have any suggestions o exactly what to do in order to accomplish the end goal which is to help the people who need it most and make these companies responsible for they’re actions and get them to do business right. Please, find it in your heart to reach out and help. Let’s join together as local guides to help, isn’t that why you became a local guide in the first place? The company I’ve been talking about is [NAME REMOVED] and there address is below, but remember it’s not just about this 1 company, there are many more out there and many people who need our help. Thank you and here’s [ADDRESS REMOVED]

Hello @Dirty-White ,

I’m sorry to learn about your experience. Please reach out to the Google My Business community where the community managers and experts would be able to advise you accordingly. If you think the business has fake reviews then, at the GMB community, I suggest clicking on Spam & Policy, then creating a post there. Please note not to include any of your or the business’ personal information, but rather allow a community expert or Googler to contact you to obtain it.

In the meantime, I have removed the name and address to the business, as we value the privacy of everyone.

Also I am going to move your post to the Local Stories section of Connect, since it fits better there.

Thank you.
