Coronovirus lockdown!

What do you mean lock down? I’m a free-ranging rooster but all the chicks must be locked down!

@AdamGT hey buddy, where are you now?

Hi @OliverKIWI

I returned to Melbourne just before they closed the borders. Now adjusting to all this coronovirus stuff while in lockdown.

@AdamGT Take care bro! - lots of tourists are locked in NZ and lots of Kiwis are abroad. There is no flight or the price is exorbitantly expensive

Yes it’s terrible @OliverKIWI . I left NZ late February and then headed north into the South Pacific totally unaware on what was happening in “the real world”. But then I heard more about it and managed to get back and was then in self isolation before this lock down and shutting down of borders (see here). Many have been repatriated but many are still stranded. I’m really sorry and feel a lot for those that didn’t get back to their respective home country in time. I was lucky!

@AdamGT I know. It escalated so badly and so quickly. Last month, we were closely looking at the situation in Wuhan, which is my home town, I was born and raised in that great city, now we are fighting for our lives :cold_sweat: Take care bro!

Gotta be really careful as this is a really evil virus. People got infected for buying a bakery in 15 secs!

Oh dear friend @OliverKIWI I didn’t know you were from Wuhan, I thought you were a Kiwi. Yes Wuhan suffered badly very early and it was shut down quickly by the government which was a good move really. BUt I heard that it was all clear there now and even your Xi Jinping visited freely walking around the bakery. Yes it is very evil.

Yes, I am from Wuhan, but I lived in NZ for more than 20 years now. @AdamGT I am devastated to see the tragic hit to my home town:(

It’s terrible, the whole thing is a nightmare @OliverKIWI . It really is World War 3. While you are now living in beautiful NZ, and it is a very beautiful country and I have been there at least 6 times, I can understand how your heart would be hurting for your Wuhan. Take care, stay safe and well in these challenging times. What part of NZ have you been living in?
