Coordinated attack on our business listing

Hello,

Due to an article in today’s newspaper we now have people actively trolling our Google Business page posting negative reviews with false and even libellous claims. I am the Chair of the organisation. A few people on our team have been reporting the reviews but it seems like it is continuing. How can we take these down?

I am sorry about your experience.

What Google maps can do to protect your business against an attack is to “disable user generated contributions for individual business profiles and business categories to prevent abuse”, as indicated in the Maps User Contributed Content Policy

However, as clearly stated by @MortenCopenhagen , business have their own support page, where they can raise this kind of issues for Google to take an action.

In addition, as you are here to represent your business, please exit from the Local Guides Program.

This is against the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions : “Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program.”

@JD_IMUST Just want to bring it to your attention, it seems that the false reviews have been removed! I took a quick glance at the Maps listing and everything looks good.
