Nice photo and perspective, @Ulfah2109
Can you share more about the activities and experiences you mean with this post?
Hi… @FlameFox
Sorry, late reply dear…
Thank you for your appreciate, dear…
I will be to try explain about activities in Ijen Crater and would be your experience unforgettable
Ijen Crater has a very extraordinary panorama, located in East Java - Indonesia. Ijen Crater is the biggest crater acid lake in Java. It is 200 meters deep and contains about 36million cubic meters of steaming acid water, shrouded in a smelling swirling sulfur cloud. Inside the crater the different color and size of stones are found.
The view of sulfur miners who climb and go down to the crater is also amazing. A man puts about more than 70 kg of yellowish stone in to his basket, before he descends the mountain slope to sell his load, carrying the same basket, going in the same direction, digging the same mineral. It is the natural picture that can be seen everyday.

Thank you for clarifying about the place. I didn’t know of this place and never heard of it, actually. Sounds like a nice to visit indeed. What took you to this place and how did you hear about it in a first place?
Hi @FlameFox
Basically I am an adventure lover and I’m join to the community. This place has been famous for a long long long time ago, especially for the adventurous community.
In recents years, by the regent this place has been made a mass tourism destination ~ really sad , actually : '( Because with many visitors came there, hundreds to thousands of people every day, it makes nature pain, a lot of garbage, and sulfur miners are disturbed enough.
In this place you can see also the natural phenomenon of “blue fire” which is only 2 in the world. One of them is in Dallol - Ethopia.
@Ulfah2109 Wow! That is incredible.
