Hello @Sriaxis

It’s nice to see a fav dish. I ate Alo Paratha many times in India. Though I haven’t visited Bengaluru, but I found this every time in Kolkata, Jaipur, Delhi, Shimla. Undoubtedly Alo Paratha is a common breakfast in India, right?

@Sriaxis can you please explain me the reason of serving food on a banana leaf? Every time I thought, why they are wasting such a huge amount of leaf ?

Well @mimran7212921 . There are many beliefs behind this practice… one reason I feel is that the it’s economical and hygiene. In villages the remaining food wrapped up in the banana leaves are disposed in the nearby field which is completely bio degradable and in some case act as manure too. This is best way of disposing food. We all know the damages caused by plastic containers. They also say banana leaves kills germs, I am not sure about this

Okay @Sriaxis it seems traditional, right?

Of course leaves replacing the plastic, and environment friendly also.
