So friends, I am here with my cooking attempts. The lockdown had a silver lining for me. I decided to learn cooking and as an endeavour ,I started cooking different dishes. Today I prepared “caramel pudding”.
And added another item to my list.
After so much of thinking and keeping in mind the ingredient a availability I chose this dish.
So, let’s start with the items required for this;
1)sugar
2)milk
3)custard powder
4)water
5)bread
This was eggless custard pudding.
First take 4-5 tablespoon of sugar and heat it till it caramelizes (it will change to brown colour) keep it in a circular bowl ,spread it uniformly.
Now make custard water.
Take 3-4 tablespoon of custard and add water to it and mix it properly. Make sure no lumps exist.
Now take half litre -one litre milk(depending on your custard quantity+bread quantity) and add sugar as per taste. Now boil it. After boiling it sufficiently add custard water to it and stir it for sometime.
Simultaneously make powder form of bread(make sure to remove the side edges) use only white portion and use grinder to get the powdered form.
Now add slowly the bread powder and mix it and add some more and repeat.
Now mix and stir it properly for sometime.
Now remove from stove and add the mixed material to our circular bowl in which we kept the caramel.
Now steam it for 30 mins. Then cool it to surrounding temperature and then keep it in refrigerator for 2 hrs and then voila ,our caramel pudding is ready to serve.
