Hi Local Guides! 
I’m Chathura from beautiful Sri Lanka 
. I’m currently a Level 5 Local Guide, and I’ve recently started actively contributing to Google Maps — and I absolutely love it! 
What I do:
I enjoy writing helpful reviews, adding photos, and fixing map info wherever I can. My goal is to support small businesses and help travelers discover hidden gems around Sri Lanka — especially in my hometown, Panadura.
Why I became a Local Guide:
One day I realized how much I rely on Google Maps myself. That’s when I decided to give back to the platform and the community. Every photo, edit, and review I add feels like a small way of helping the world move better.
My goals as a Local Guide:
- Reach Level 6 and beyond by the end of the year
- Support the Local Guide community across Sri Lanka
- Get featured by Google one day
- Help organize or join Local Meetups
