Contact details not updated

A business owner changed many times contact number on GMB dashboard but number not updated.

I have also changed but it is not applied, as discussed with owner he trying to update his number from one year but all times it’s not updated.

The owner has not yet claimed the business in GMB. The “Claim this business” link is still active in Maps.

Possibly, the owner is trying to change the contact details as a Google user of LG.

Let the owner claim the business & then change the contact details through GMB.
