Google Local Guides are nothing but some virtual guides who help you to get proper information providing honest reviews that help someone in deciding which restaurant to eat nearby or which place to hang around, if the institution is good for students or if the direction of your company is correct. So, being a Local Guide at level 7, what we do is guiding everyone out there based on our own experience we write reviews, we suggest the required edits to the predefined data. Sometimes we add new address of the shop/hotel/institution just to make sure the map is updated. and the advantages? when you improve your locality, you guide others or you are guided by, the advantages are clearly visible, it’s for your own! there is no monetary satisfaction I must say, but something more than that if you feel helping others is to help yourself.
