What I love about being a Google Local guide in Google Maps is the integration with Google photo’s.
I enjoy to share pictures and reviews of restaurants I visit. To my own surprise I get feedback from Google how many people have liked those reviews.
As a matter of fact I receive messages from people that chose a restaurant based on my and other Google Local guides reviews in Google Maps. The reviews have become a new standard in trust.
With the integration with Google Photo’s, Maps will actually propose you the pictures that were taken at the location you’re reviewing. To make this work as easy as possible, you need to download the Google Photo’s App to your smartphone. And activate the automatic backup of your pictures in the app.
Many people use Google Maps to find their way, now people find what they want to do and find new ways & locations.
