Hi there jungleismassive001! Welcome to Local Guides Connect. I too am from Riverside, it’s good to find other locals on here

I wanna help you out but not sure if I understood you correctly. Are you asking if there are any tour guides in the City of Riverside that you could go on? You looking for a job as a tour guide in Riverside? Or are you just asking if there are any other Google “Local Guides”?

If the question is the first one, then yes, there are a few tour guides you can take in the city of Riverside. The most famous being a guided tour of the Mission Inn through the Mission Inn Foundation. (https://missioninnmuseum.org/visit/take-tour/). . )They are offered year round on a daily basis, excluding special days like holidays and such. Also there are varies other local non-profit agencies that offer guided tours, but these are seasonal or annual. One such tour is put on by the Old Riverside Foundation (http://oldriverside.org/), they take you on tours of historic homes located throughout the city, usually these are homes that are not open to the public so it’s especially fascinating. This event is held annually and if you see this post within the next few days you should be able to attend this years tour as it will be put on May 19, 2018. If architecture isn’t your thing and are more interested in finding out about the folks who make up Riverside and give it it’s charm then look into a guided tour of Riverside put on by Save Our Chinatown Committee (http://www.saveourchinatown.org/). It’s a 1-mile guided walking tour exploring important places and stories associated with Riverside’s Asian American history. Co-sponsored by Japanese American Citizens’ League and Young Oak Kim Center for Korean American Studies at UC Riverside. These tours are put on a quarterly basis. The next one will also be on May 19, 2018, it’s unfortunate since it will be on the same day as the Riverside Home Tour day.

If the question is the second one, I unfortunately don’t have any information in regards to jobs as tour guides in the City of Riverside. That sounds like a fun job to have.

If the question is the third one, then I’m here to say that I am a local guide also. If you are interested in finding more locals maybe we could co-host a meetup in downtown? I believe in the past another individual tried hosting a meetup however I was the only respondent and in the end I had an emergency on the day of the meetup and could not attend. But I doubt that event is any indicator of future attendance.
