Hi, I am Peggy, a foodie from Taiwan. It’s my pleasure to be a level 5 local guide and to be invited to this significant event! From now on, let me introduce myself and talk about what local guide program means to me.
I think the local guide program means” telling your feeling and sharing your experiences with the world”. And I will explain the reason for my thoughts in the following paragraphs.
First, what motivates me to give comments on google map? Let’s start from this photo of Burgermeister in Berlin.
It was my first photo and comment on google map. I uploaded the picture because the burger really surprised me! It was so delicious and juicy, and the combination of cheese and their special sauce are a match in heaven!
So initially , I just want to tell everybody how does the food taste. And notifications on google map tell me that many people view my comments, so I was so satisfied with the consequence. Second, I want to leave my footprint for the places I have visited through the local guide program. Because of google map, “sharing” is so interesting and delightful. Sometimes I will get response from the business owners, and it really motivates and encourages me to keep leaving suggestions and comments.
Due to these reasons I mention, we can learn something from those comments and also find like-minded people.
Because of the local guide program, I also share photos and comments for some wonderful tourist attractions on my Instagram. I would also analyze the advantages and defects for the places and food.
Thanks to the program, it breaks the national boundaries in reality and makes “sharing” an interesting thing simultaneously. I will also keep the habit sharing my feeling and stories through this program!
