It’s not at all a normal mindset…
As like every local guide around the globe, I am also looking forward for Connect live 2020, visualising the moment I have always dreamt of. To becoming the first ever member from my family “a middle class family” to visit UNITED STATES and that too for free, it’s a mind blowing feeling !!! Trust me. Because I had never started contribution towards Google Maps keeping this feeling as a vision. It was random thing, out of bordem, somewhat trying to help others and nothing else.
But but but- what’s happened to the world. Thinking about live 2020 all the time, all of a sudden, I heard about a thing that never heard about before, a disease, Corona at first then it’s abbreviation called COVID-19 seems like a version of something. Mindset deviated, Chaos creating on News channels, WhatsApp messages coming my way. I was wondering where to keep my focus. On the one side, I was receiving Gmail messages regarding discussions from local guides around the world on emails with subject line “Save the Date” creating a confusion whether we actually need to save the date or not, because few of messages concerning whether Live 2020 can be affected by the pandemic. On the other side, Me trying to convince myself that everything is gonna be alright, Corona will be ended before the event, prayers, positive attitude, ignoring negative media, abiding by govt’s order, following lockdown, standing in my balcony seeing empty roads with very very few humans on the roads, even though it should be completely empty means NO ONE except stray dogs and cats, blah blah blah… what’s going on. Just then my inner self tells what do I want ???.. Firstly It’s a battle between we all Vs the evil “COVID-19” rest all comes after it…
