This is my “trial-post” for the Connect Live 2020 Event…
The main 2 questions to answer were:
- What is the most interesting thing you’ve done as a Local Guide? Visiting Zakinthos Island was really a great experience for me (see the pictures for further details). The idea that my reviews and feedbacks could help other travellers was something inspiring (I was trying to do the things that I’d have desidered to find to help me in my travel). Google Maps was really one of the most powerful ally ever. All my other travels (Zambrone in Calabria, for instance), followed that same approach. It’s a “top habit” that, I think, I’ll never dismiss.
- What does the Local Guides program mean to you? It’s a great opportunity. I’ve always loved to help people (it’s like one of my main “aims/objectives” in life), in every “field”, and this feature, that let you contribute to some of the greatest worldwide services “from a bottom point of view”, is something that I really appreciate (I think it’s totally proceless).
Maybe an approach like this could be of great value also in other fields (like politics, economy, etc.), but this is a too wider consideration, that maybe needs to be argued somewhere else.
Thank You All, for reading this,
hope “it’s worth the deal”.
Cheers,
Fabrizio
