Connect Live 2019 applications are now open!

Just a few moments ago, applications for Connect Live 2019 opened and they’ll close on April 30 (at 11:59pm UTC to be exact). That gives you 8 weeks to apply if you’re Level 5+ or you can use that time to reach Level 5!

Everything you need to know about applying for this year’s event can be found in this announcement, but I know Local Guides love information, so here are six easy steps—and helpful information—to submit the best application possible:

1. Record a 1-minute video in English. Keep these tipsfrom @MollyMo handy.
2. Share a link to a new Connect post responding to this year’s application prompt. New to Connect? @AriMar has everything you need to know outlined inthis post.
3. Create a List on Google Maps using tipsfrom Connect Live 2018 speaker @annaroth .
4. Visit the Connect Live 2019 website to apply (after logging into your Local Guides account).
5. Complete all the questions carefully and in English.
6. Submit your application and share your excitement on social media using #localguidesconnect.

There are four choices.

I don’t need a visa.

I don’t have a valid visa or ESTA.

I am not a U.S. resident.

Which incorrect answer is the best answer?
