First of all, I am extremely sorry for being late to post this article. I was committed to posting it on July 16, but I was unable to do so due to a serious illness. I hope you can forgive me.
I was recently visiting three rural unique markets in Bangladesh. These markets are locally very famous, but people outside of the area may not know about them. I thought it would be interesting to share my experience with you.
Amraid Domestic Animals Market
The first market I visited was the Amraid Domestic Animals Market. It is held every Tuesday, and buyers from all over Bangladesh come to the market to purchase cows, bulls, and goats. The market is open from morning until night, but the busiest time is from midday to evening. The market has all the amenities that you would expect, including mobile banking, CCTV, and restrooms.

Beguni Bazar
The second market I visited was the Beguni Bazar, or Jackfruit Market. However, despite its name, this market does not sell eggplants. Instead, it is a specific market for jackfruit. Villagers from all over the area bring their jackfruit to the market to sell to wholesalers, who then distribute it to buyers all over Bangladesh, including Dhaka. The market is held every Monday, and on that day, you will see jackfruit everywhere.

Khirati Bazar
The third market I visited was the Khirati Bazar. This is the Kingdom of Banana. It is located in the village of Khirati, which is surrounded by banana fields. Every day, people from the village bring their bananas to the market to sell. The market is open every day, but the busiest time is in the morning, when the freshest bananas are available.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my experience visiting these three rural unique markets in Bangladesh. If you are ever in the area, be sure to visit one of them and experience the local flavor.
