Is it possible to generate a link that you can send for people to connect or follow you? It seems complex otherwise? Please fix Google if not available? Thanks in advance
Hi @Jazz_Master
Here is the link https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1535110 to your Connect profile. From this page people can click to follow you on Connect.
And here is the link to your Maps profile https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/105088881237941807955
Where people can follow you on Google Maps.
All the best
Morten
Hi @Jazz_Master and welcome to Connect.
The full link for others to follow you on Connect is:
As you are fairly new to the Connect Community, in case you haven’t already done so, to make your experience even better, I recommend that you check out Your guide to Connect. Also, should you need any help you can always refer to our Help Desk. Other great articles to read include How do I write a post on Connect and How do I follow the original content guidelines on Connect. Finally, I recommend that you take a moment to introduce yourself and get to know other Local Guides in the Community via the our monthly Introduce Yourself post.
Hello @AdamGT
Please cross-check the link you pasted here for @Jazz_Master . For some reasons it seems it’s not working from my ends. I tried a number of times. Just to be sure to be sure. An observation just !
Cheers
Well done for checking @SholaIB . I’m now wondering if the link is too long and the return in the Connect post has broken it. I’ve edited my reply so can you try it again.
Thank you @AdamGT I appreciate the prompt response.
Authentication, ticket mis-matched failed authentication.
Return to original page. (you know that red page message)
That’s the message I get when I click on it now even after the edit
Cheers
That’s weird as it’s working perfectly for me @SholaIB I’ve checked it again try both links!
Hello @AdamGT
Maybe it’s my connection I don’t know, it’s quite funny. I keep getting the same message. Perhaps anyone else can try,I give up for now. I tried other links in the thread and it worked though. The one Morten pasted in particular. I will try again later.
Cheers
